The Truth Behind the Gospel of Christ

April 21, 2010

Hey My Brothers and Sisters…

There are many spiritual truths in the bible and if we do not get THIS concept right our whole walk will follow a pattern that is not of God. It grieves me that many have strayed away from the truth of the Gospel…not that I have attained…but the Lord desires us all including myself to know the truth and to walk in it. That we may prove what is His perfect will.

The bible says that men will have itchy ears and heap up for themselves teachers..according to their own desires and lust..even calling it the Gospel (2 tim 4.3)! Some of us are crying out daily to experience know get deeper with Him,live rightly before Him (some of us arent…but I pray God will change that)…even in our striving against sin…to be spotless and blameless before Him. But God will never go against His word! Anyone that will follow Him..must first deny Himself! Do not subsistitute the joy that comes from God with the joy that comes from the material things of the world. These are very different. The emotion of joy can come from maybe you get a new job…Praise God..a new car…GLORY…but we can never substitute this for the joy that Jesus speaks of in John 15.11 where He says

11I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.

Hence why when depression and despair comes..the joy from the job cannot fight it..the feeling of loneliness cannot be overcome through your new car and the struggle of lust cannot be overcome through your much service in the church(building) to God. At times we substitute what we NEED for what we want..because we want we see as a faster route to help us with our challenges. But what we need is Jesus!

Many of us have substituted that which we earnestly desired to come from Him directly with the things of this world!!!

For some that are saying this brother is being too spiritual…we are called to be spiritual and not carnal…for some that think what I’m saying is soo foreign..its because the church has moved soo far away from the doctrine of Christ – The Bible.

Look at the lives of the apostles…the reason they were able to do what they did was because Jesus WAS their lives..they counted the things of this world as loss knowing their inheritance was Him, being with Him and the promise of an expected end with Him.

Paul said…That I may know Him in the power of His ressurection and in the fellowship of His sufferings….BEING CONFORMED TO HIS DEATH…

We speak about crucifying the flesh..dying daily etc….the truth of it is..if we have not let go of our lives(OUR DESIRES) for Christ, we are still not living up to the call of Christ…He says that

25 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. (Matthew 16.25)

We are called to suffer for Christ in this world till He comes…

God is asking us to rend our hearts and walk with Him. Follow Him wherever He leads.

Please let us not become wise in our own eyes…God provides according to our needs..for someone it could be He needs to recieve a million pounds in a rich environment to do what God has ordained…for some it might mean not living in the way society(and christiendom) see’s as prosperous but having that which is needed to glorify God and do His will. Read the last scripture and may He open the eyes of our understanding!

Phil 4.11
11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content. 12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Gaining Christ Christ does not speak about our earthly riches…

Please let us pray us pray on this matter and this prayer based on Eph 1.17-18 that:

Lord teach me your ways that I may know you and live a life that is in complete submission to your word!

God Bless you all and please watch these clips on youtube as they speak about the true essence of the Gospel of Christ..

The Truth Behind Loneliness!!

April 21, 2010

God is good im going to make a bold statement(May God continually be with Me LOL)…………………..

Yes it sounds like another religious statement, for those guys who take it too deep/spiritual…etc..but please hear me out………….

When we look throught the lives of the Prophets/Apostles/People who walked with God, we see that there was sooo much intimacy with God. There is soo much depth to His love, it goes beyond the flesh. This statement, when we hear it with the flesh/mind, it does not register and we in our own minds can not contemplate it being a reality. But again as we go back, those who walked with God in the past had such intimacy to the point of willing to even die for Him if it meant pleasing God…
The question now comes, why do we get this feeling? Also is it truly possible to be in a place where we do not feel lonely..??
I boldy say YES

Matthew 6.28-30

‘Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?’

God literally can cloth us with His love to the extent we need not desire anything/anyone else. The truth of the matter is, it is OUR FAITH that brings this intimacy to manifestation. The continuing exercising of our faith according to the word of God. The feeling of loneliness will come, truly everyone will get the feeling for many reasons but depending on our relationship with God, the love/acceptance/intimacy we have with God very quickly brushes aside the feeling…again depending on our own individual walk with God.

Heb 11.6
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

A lot of people will hear this and rather accept the lie, that man/woman(marriage) will fill this gap we have. Henceforth run towards marriage (which isnt the solution and the evidence is seen for those who do it when they realise the mistake). What married people don’t tell you (those that decided to run in marriage because of loneliness) is that they still feel lonely, even very often in marriage LOL. At first its all a great adventure, but AFTER ‘camera/lights/action’, the music slows down, then theres that big cry because of the emptyness and our souls still yearn to be arrayed and clothed by Him!!!!!!!!! OOH JESUS!!!OH How we need you!!! come fill our lives! ūüôā

The feeling of loneliness can come from a lot of things, false teaching, comparing ourselves to other people(the MOST common), lust, jealousy. it is not a sin to feel lonely as we all will have had and will have our moments, but know it is a FEELING that can be changed by our relationship with God. The feeling is saying God cannot satisfy us and God is not enough…The truth is He will, when we desire Him and that desire being seen with our lives as a sacrifice to Him (FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD), in the truth of His word.

But the state/feeling of loneliness came from mans separation from the divine nature of God. Consider the following…

God in His wisdom saw that Adam needed a helper hence He says

And the Lord God said, ‚Äú It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.‚ÄĚ(Gen 2.18).

God in His wisdom gives Eve as a helper to him, to give him comfort and help for life and everything man was called to do (Gen 1.28). Most importantly that Adam would not be alone. But with all of that we see that the helper God gave to Adam, did not take away or prevent loneliness.

Later on they disobey God and are left feeling naked and lonely once again. (Gen 3.10). God again in His mercy clothes them in a temporary garment (Gen 3.21) until the fullness of time would come…
…. 4¬†But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5¬†to redeem (bring back from) those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption(to take as one’s own) as sons.

Jesus now comes and says

16¬†And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever‚ÄĒ 17¬†the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. 18¬†I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. (John 14.16-18)

Please take note to the divine words of Jesus “He will give you another Helper“. The first helper (Eve) was comparable to Adam and did not add eternal sustenance to keep and clothe Adam, being “comparable to him” meaning like him, in other words mere flesh. But the second is not like the first, this Helper was not comparable to Adam, but this Helper is God!

Hence Jesus immediately after says “I will not leave you as orphans (alone/desolate/forsaken); I will come to you“, meaning Jesus spoke about the new help/comfort being God Himself! (Consider 1 John 5.7, John 14.10-27, John 17.3, John 10.10). Do you see how Christ came to remove loneliness? Lonelinesss is only removed in Christ and nothing comparable to Adam(flesh) or any created thing can be substituted with the love of our creator!

David said
O God, You are my God;
Early will I seek You;
My soul thirsts for You;
My flesh longs for You
In a dry and thirsty land
Where there is no water.(Ps 63.1-3)

David was in a true place of intimacy where he desired God to the extent that he never felt satisfied hence wanting more! Yes he made mistakes but it did not change what he was experiencing with God. (Ps 27).¬† Hence why God said david was a man after His own heart…..

AND THATS THE SECRET….lets be right after God’s heart, lets desire to know Him above all. As we do that, everything is added! Its a typical verse we hear in church, but when we follow it and are obedient God has promised to satisfy us with EVERYTHING!!!(I pray the Lord helps us to truly take and apply this concept and not let it(HIM) pass us by. Infact lemme expand on that….
…….in brackets I said Him, yes, the truth is when we do not desire Him above all, he passes us by, im not talking about His hand, im talking about His face…knowing Him. Experiencing Jehova!!! This is what christianity is all about. Incase people don’t agree with my comment on God passing people by, lemme show it by scripture a popular one, often read without the interpretation and understanding of the Holy Spirit.

John 4.24
23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.

Now God would never say something and not show us how, but He showed the example of a life of TRUE worship in Jesus Christ. The desire of Christ was not to do anything of His own will, but to please the father (Matthew 5.30)

Matthew 26.42
42He went away a second time and prayed, “My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done.”

You see even in the most lonely time where Jesus was deserted by the disciples in His time of trouble, it was still always about Him..also coming back to the the context of John 4.23, God saw a worshipper in His son Christ..hence why in the most lonely time God saw Him came down and gave Him strength. If you read earlier before Jesus prayed, the bible says that Jesus said;

‘My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death’ (Mark 14.34)

But yet take note that after He feverently prayed He then got up and carried on with what he was called to do. God did not only give Him phyiscal strength but also overcame the power of the flesh including all forms of loneliness. So please guys in our time of emotion lets do what Jesus did. Lets live the life that Jesus lived (1 John 2.6).

To some it up…John 17.3

‘And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.’

For all of us who desire Him to take us to this place of contentment in Him, May He continually bring us there, not for a an emotional hour/day/week/month, but throughout our lives married/unmarried till He comes(It’s all about Him)!!!!! May He build us to the place where we desire Him alone…knowing that as we desire Him..EVERYTHING we need will be added in His own time. May we walk in His perfect will. AMEN, I pray this has blessed someone! It sure has blessed me!

Please take note: this message is not to abominate marriage, as marriage was and is ordained by God and is a gift of God, but this note is to let you know that loneliness is ONLY taken away in Christ.

Love You ALL and God Bless You ūüôā

What is Purpose as a believer?

April 21, 2010

Hello blessed people of God,

I thought I would add/conclude a little¬†on the topic of purpose.¬†In this topic¬†is where¬†one of the biggest deceptions lie¬†in the church,¬†preventing genuine believers from walking in higher depths of the life in Jesus Christ¬†and experiencing deeper depths of His¬†tangible love¬†which He eagerly¬†wants to pour out in us.(this note may be considered as long, it is because I wanted to explain this misunderstood concept in brief detail :-0). I am praying that if any of us including myself are not walking in the revelation of His word…He will deliver us at the entrance of His word! Also that anyone who¬†has decided not to read this email due to length will consider the eternal value of God’s word! Please read and may the Lord bless you in Jesus name! AMEN

Purpose? What is my purpose??How can I fullfill my purpose??

Romans 8.28-29
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son.

My bold interpretation is that our purpose is to be conformed to the image of His son.¬†Dictionaries suggest that the¬†word conformed means ‘to correspond with’ or ‘to act in accordance’. Our lives as christians is for the heavens, the earth and everything beneath the earth, to witness¬†OUR lives being changed by the power of God (Eph 3.8-11..according to¬†the eternal purpose‘). Please note that this is a life long process until Jesus comes back. Before I go on…..

I pray in the name of¬†Jesus Christ,¬†that our hope and our source of drive for ministry/our walk with God/career/ our LIFE, would come from the desire for¬†Jesus alone(with no strings attached and not for what we can get/gain/achieve)…. Our zeal from¬†the ‘desire to be used’ will not carry us in our walk, but our selfless pursuit of knowing Him surely¬†will!!! Rather than trials making us stronger they could cause us to¬†continue to struggle in our walk with¬†the Lord,¬†if we do not yeild to Him, walking in His truth, because deep down the ‘desire to be used’ is usualy linked with desire for power/wealth/honor/false sense of security/self confidence/temporary emotional highs(walking in the flesh), the very things which are against the nature of¬†the life¬†Jesus lived and God can never deliver our flesh from the enemy/attack but its our spirit He so¬†desires to empower. We all get through because of His mercy and grace, but He does not want us to walk without confidence in Him..which is poured out from heaven and not something we can cloth on like a garment or just say we have.¬†Our level of¬†Confidence comes from the level of¬†revelation we have¬†of who He is. The revelation of ‘who God is’ tangibly strengthens us in our situations. Many of us qoute the scripture regarding God never allowing temptations to come our way that we cannot bare and He will make a way of escape…well those who seek Him to know Him dwell in Him…ie our place of escape is in Him…The name of the Lord is strong tower….those who dwell in the secret place of the most high shall abide in the shadow of the almighty….The men of God sought God’s face because they realised that He is all they needed. (Please read Heb 11)

But we cannot move in this depth of spiritual living in Christ if we are still in the flesh.

Gal 5.19-21

19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery,[c] fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders,[d] drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

2 Tim 3.2-5(Paul speaking to Timothy about the future of people found in the church)

2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power.

1 Tim 6.3-6

3 If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, 4 he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, 5 useless wranglings[a] of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself.[b]
6 Now godliness with contentment is great gain

1 Tim 6.7-10

7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain[c] we can carry nothing out. 8 And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. 9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Ephesians 4.17-19
“This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of[a] the Gentiles walk (question do the¬†christians walk differently to the gentiles? Is it not by walking¬†after the desires of the Spirit rather than the flesh!), in the futility of their mind, 18 having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; 19 who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.”

..etc. But He that desires Jesus…just to know Him, to be at His feet, desiring so earnestly to be changed into His likeness recieves grace. because such are the people that James spoke of who humble themselves before the Lord receiving grace.(James 4.6).

Someone will say but my brother…. my big desire to be used is not based on selfish desires but I desire the Lord to be glorified and do what He wants. Then I would reply..then¬†if¬†truly we desire to be used, we don’t need to wait…everyday is a day¬†to fulfill purpose and walk as Jesus did……AND THERES MORE MORE MORE THAN ENOUGH WORK TO DO….

Somebody who desires Jesus above all recieves¬†more¬†grace to be in Him and dwell in Him. This means that¬†while everyone else is praying ‘God help me to fullfil purpose/show me my purpose’…God will make every day of your life stand for purpose because His Spirit dwells in you with a daily agenda for the building of God’s Kingdom. He will not only show you your purpose, but reveal to you what He is doing round the world and open our eyes to the last hour deceptions which are everywhere, especially in the church. But God will deliver us in Jesus name! AMEN

People who desire to know Jesus alone¬†slowly see a change in¬†their actions¬†and the unction of God’s hand upon¬†his/hers life. Then the¬†word of God is no longer just written but is living and present in our life. The more God becomes our only desire we realise that our prayers change, our reasoning changes and God begins to manifest the desires He places in our hearts. His word(truth) must first abide(live) in you for Him to manifest Himself¬†without limitation.(John 15.7). This is what the word means when it speaks of delighting yourself in the Lord. This ties in with ‘1 John 5.14’ of asking according to His will…its only His word in us that causes us to pray in line with His will, not our carnal desires. God is not carnal and can never put His word aside for our agenda. He doesn’t need our advice or¬†desires for His kingdom (its all been written from Genesis to Revelation)..Jesus will build it…so as we desire Him we allow Jesus to enter and walk through us….AND BUILD BUILD BUILD!!!

Psalms 37.4
Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Love(‘..God is love’) can not be conqured/mastered in the time we spend here on earth…so if we find we are waiting for something it means we are already being disobedient in the great commision of love!

Matthew 22.37-39
37 Jesus said to him, ‚Äú ‚ÄėYou shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.‚Äô[d] 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‚ÄėYou shall love your neighbor as yourself.

Some of us have been blessed with the gift of encouragement, some of use the gift of giving, along with that, the mandate of the church is to preach the gospel. As we seek Jesus…JUST TO KNOW HIM…He will give us more than enough to do because He begins to share His burdens with us. He has many things to speak to us about…so much that pen and paper would not be able to take down…

Again¬†I say…..Someone who delights in the Lord, placing their hunger for God above everything else…is immediately empowered by the Lord through hope. So works are almost uncontrollable. In fact Jeremiah made a decision in his mind that he would not preach….but the Lords word was inside him¬†like fire and he could not help but preach(Jer 20.7-9). The truth is, the¬†closer we walk with God, a pure refined¬†selfless desire for God to be glorifed comes forth and transcends beyond every other desire that wages against us.

Somebody who dwells in the presence of the Lord, experiences Jehovah in a new way daily and is constantly hearing the Lord through His word. Moses saw the Lord in the form of fire one time…but then another time saw Him as a great dark cloud..the same God…but Moses found grace before the Lord and the Lord blessed Him by revealing His goodness(ex 33.7-23) but we have recieved grace through Jesus Christ (Heb 4.16).

Joseph’s destination was to be 2nd in command, ruler over the nation. But as he was faithful in the small God used him whever he was. In potiphers house he was ruler over the house, even in the prison¬†he was made ruler of the prison house.
David was placed in charge of the sheep by his father and when a bear came to take on of them…David slew the bear. No wonder He had confidence against goliath because God had already trained him and he was faithful in the small. The Apostles where sent out two by two to preach the word by themselves, when they recieved the holy Spirit, they were already trained by their past experience.
If we ever find ourselves neglecting the small and desiring the greater things first, self seeking is always present and may the Lord deliver us in Jesus name!!

WHATEVER GOD IS CALLING YOU TO DO IN THE FUTURE, YOU SHOULD BE WALKING IN NOW!!!If we are walking in the spirit/purpose. of God.

The truth of it all is we cannot give what we do not have and our focus should be on the giver. This is what Paul describes as the mind-set of a ‘MATURE’ believer!

Phil 3.7-15
7 But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. 8 Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ….15 Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you. 16 Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule,[b] let us be of the same mind.

2 Cor 5.14-15

14 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.

The scripture says He ‘seeks’ those who will¬†worship Him in Spirit and in truth(John 4.23-24), meaning that not EVERYBODY will choose to seek Him beyond the comfortablity and¬†confines of the building on sunday/traditions of men. But there are a generation of those who seek Him and by His Grace…We are privilidged to be given the choice to be part of that generation and our hope is that we will be!!! AMEN

The Lord desires that we would love Him with EVERYTHING¬†we have, with no strings attached (only God can do this, but when we desire Him to). For in this place….God can now BLESS us with the life that is in Him flowing into and through us. When we begin to drink of His water….we are never satisfied…and the truth begins to become our delight even when we see areas of our lives that does not match it! Jesus is ever satisfying. Insecurities and loneliness begins to depart because we experience more and more that we are..‘complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power’ (col 2.10).

John 17.2-3
2 as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should[a] give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. 3 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

When we see Him in the midst of our situation we are CHANGED! Only those who sit at His feet can see clearly the face of Jehovah! (2 Cor 3.18)

Now let us begin to persue Him like never before…Only Moses at the time of¬†God’s visitation upon mount¬†Sinai (Ex 20)¬†had the grace to dwell in the depths of the¬†presence of the Lord, but now we have been given the grace through Jesus Christ¬†to boldy come before Him and see His know Him! More grace is poured for us to run even more when we behold Him!!

John 7.18

He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him.

Isaiah 64.6
7 And there is no one who calls on Your name,
Who stirs himself up to take hold of You
For You have hidden Your face from us,
And have consumed us because of our iniquities.

Psalm 14.2
The LORD looks down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are any who understand…..who seek God.

1 Peter 1.13
Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

In¬†summary.. His words are Spirit and they are¬†life…Yes it is not easy, it is difficult! But the more we desire Him¬†and move in obedience,¬†the more we become¬†strengthened¬†in our¬†faith in Him, not wavering but walking with an increasingly¬†greater level of conviction of who God is and how much we need Him(Romans 4.20-22). In other words the dispensation of His love is¬†poured out¬†in¬†our hearts in greater measures¬†as a result of us¬†seeking Him to know Him. This in essence makes it easier and more exciting as our confidence in Him grows.JESUS

Lord I pray that that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,
and that18 the eyes of your understanding[a] being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,(Eph 1.17-18)..Lord as we begin to pursue even more, we pray that You will above all draw us closer to you, walk through us, helping us walk rightly before you. AMEN

So as we wake up, let us not stir ourselves in works, but rather stir ourselves up in Him, delighting in our God and our unquenchable pursuit to know Him. As we delight in Him, His purposes shall surely come to pass. AMEN

Thank you for taking time to read and the Lord will continue to bless you with all glory going to Him. ūüôā

Love you all!!!
